and so it begins...

2008 was a great year for us, meeting so many great wedding couples and shooting so many bands, working for Irelands best music magazine, State, and finishing up the year getting all photo nerdy, with some fantastic new lighting equipment (Bowens) and a new camera (the Canon 5DII)

Simon and Paula (below) were the guinea pigs for our new camera and we had a great time shooting a fantastic winter wedding over in Kilronan castle in Roscommon.

We've a heap of plans for the coming year, hopefully nothing will get too unstuck with all the worlds credit crunchiness, we're pretty excited about all the photography we'll get to do this year.

First band up to try out being shot on location is Xerosun, a band we've shot a couple of times before and are always into finding us great locations. Keep an eye out in a week or so for a few behind the scenes photos of how it all went down.
